GTC IV - Reading & Writing

This course prepares you to become a specialist in teaching reading and writing in face-to-face (F2F) or virtual classes. Your knowledge and expertise will be fully developed to help learners build comprehension skills using research-supported strategies, as well as lead students to become avid, successful writers across all CEFR levels. The course covers fundamental principles, theory, and background knowledge aligned with international standards and accreditation. Through practical, hands-on application, you will master techniques for brainstorming, planning, drafting, feedback, and revision—overcoming common instructional hurdles to boost learner motivation and guide students to read and write for real-world communication. Additionally, dedicated reflection components will enable you to analyze your teaching, review outcomes, and collaborate with peers for continuous professional growth.
