Global ELT Management Program
This is a course designed for anyone who wishes to become an academic supervisor, coordinator, or director. It is also aimed at those who currently hold such a position. In this course, you will learn the essentials of everything a Language Program Administrator (LPA) needs to know to run a language program successfully. From developing academic expertise in program development to managing people and leading the way to quality assurance, this course covers all of the essentials.
Whether you would like to become an LPA or are one already, this course will address key themes and topics extensively so your background knowledge, academic expertise, and people skills are all fully developed for success. In the case of those who are already working as supervisors, coordinators, or directors, this course will enhance your ability to lead your teachers and programs successfully, giving you the level of confidence you need to meet your professional goals to your greatest satisfaction.
This is the blended version, which means you enter the platform and follow a carefully designed course plan over four months. It includes two virtual classes per month of two and half hours each. The sessions are informative, interactive, and focused on developing your knowledge and skills in relation to fundamental principles and concepts related to language program management. These include management essentials, working on teams, conflict management, curricular development and evaluation, and, most importantly, teacher evaluation and supervision. There will be a significant amount of time spent on Teacher Evaluation and Supervision, including class observations and feedback.
Other features:
Class sessions with Leo Mercado, an ELT / LPA Professional with over 25 years of experience in the educational sector, most of which consists of holding diverse roles as a language program administrator.
The course also involves a project that accounts for 20% of the course grade.

Schedules are 7pm - 9:30pm on Wednesdays or 2:30pm - 5:00pm on Saturdays.

Classes are scheduled to begin Wednesday, November 4 or Saturday, November 7 (please register by Monday, November 2). The investment is S/.249 per month for four months.
